Stretching, corrective or rehabilitative exercises
- What is it?
- Stretching and corrective/rehabilitative exercises are generally exercises that your practitioner will give you to support your condition or body between treatments. They can also be used to manage your condition so that you can return to the activities you love doing sooner.
- Your practitioner will tailor these exercises to you and your condition or presenting symptoms.
- When might a Myotherapist use it?
- Most conditions and presentations will benefit from the movement that these exercises will encourage better management of your symptoms.
- What to expect from this modality?
- Just a little bit of homework! But these exercises are designed to make you feel better and supported in your health journey. It won’t be a full program of exercises but 2 or 3 that will be easy to slip into your schedule.
- Benefits
- Supporting your condition and symptoms in between treatments which will hopefully get you to the point where you don’t feel like you need a treatment as regularly. We love it when you do visit but getting you back to good health is our number 1 priority.
