Clinical nutrition plays a crucial role in maintaining and promoting optimal health with various medical conditions. It involves the application of nutrition principles to assess, diagnose, and provide personalised dietary interventions to patients. By considering a patient’s unique nutritional needs, clinical nutrition aims to optimize their overall well-being and enhance the effectiveness of medical treatments. Moreover, clinical nutrition is an integral part of preventive medicine. By promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle modifications, it aims to prevent chronic diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. Nutritional counseling and education are essential components of clinical nutrition, helping individuals make informed choices about their diet and lifestyle.

A little bit about Heidi
After being on the pill for close to 10 years, Heidi had no guidance about how the pill was impacting her hormones and her body. This led her to discovering her passion for educating others and navigating how to balance her hormones through nutrition, lifestyle and supplement support.
Heidi has worked the past couple of years with majority women aged between 30-60yrs and her mission is to provide other women with the knowledge and resources to take control of their hormones. Heidi believes menopause shouldn’t be something to fear, rather to be a time of their life to celebrate this new transition period.
Heidi specialises in:
▪ Metabolic health
▪ Female hormones (PCOS, PMS, Amenorrhoea, Endometriosis, perimenopause / menopause)
▪ Preconception care and fertility
▪ Gut health & digestion
