Our updated approach to Coronavirus (COVID 19)

As we are all aware, reading and talking about, Coronavirus (COVID-19) has impacted many parts of the world and we are yet to know how this will impact Australia, our local community or even clinic here.

What we do know without adding any fear or hysteria around this topic is that keeping ourselves as healthy and immune strong as we can and entering in increased hygiene practices is priority for all.

Being a healthcare clinic we do see a variety of patients from different ages and immune strengths, so we have updated our infection control measures to support all of our patients and ensuring everyone has access to care.

We have added additional immune services if you are looking for advice or direction on how best to support your health.

During this time we are very much guided by our professional associations and their advice on how to best practice for the health of both practitioners and patients. Should we be required to change anything we will always be in contact with you.

• Our clinic is cleaned daily and deep cleaned fortnightly.
• We are increasing how often we disinfect regularly touched surfaces (eg. door handles, benches, light switches, computers, face pieces) with disposable wipes and sprays.
• Our team will be regularly using hand sanitiser in between handwashing.
• Our team are fit and healthy for work, however should they fall ill we have advised that it is best practice to rest at home. Our reception team will contact you to reschedule or rebook with another one our team. We ask for your understanding and patience if this does occur.
• All of our glassware are washed and dried in a high temperature dishwasher.
• All linens are changed for each patient and washed and dried to council regulations onsite and stored in clean and enclosed cabinetry.
• All tools used for practice are sterilised onsite in commercial machines according to association laws.
• Our heating/cooling system has regular filter cleans.

• We ask that if you have travelled overseas to please self isolate yourself for the recommended 14 days.
• If you are unwell, have come down with a cold that it may be best to rest at home. We can organise phone consultations with our Naturopath or TCM practitioners to arrange home delivery of supplements. We can also arrange phone consults with any of our practitioners for general home based exercises or assistance with mental health or musculoskeletal management.
• We highly recommend hand washing or use of hand sanitiser when in the clinic.
• Please alert our reception or treating practitioner if you are immune compromised currently so we can take extra precautions during your visit.
